In PowerPoint, go to
the "file" menu & select Page Setup (or
Slide Setup in some versions) then select 35mm Slides
from the Slide Size options.
Do not put graphics and text too
close to the edge of page. (allow about 1/2"
on all edges) Use
"view"-"ruler" option. That way your
work won't be covered by the slide mount.
If you have already
made your slides, DON'T
PANIC! Using
the default "On Screen" format, they can be reformatted to "35mm Slides".
But PowerPoint has a tendency to "rearrange" things
when you do. If you follow these guidelines, you will be able
to get your text back in shape. Open your file in PowerPoint
and reformat the original to "35mm Slides" in the file-page
setup menu. Step through each slide one at a time and check
to determine if any text or graphics have moved into unacceptable
locations. Rearrange them to meet your needs.
Hints:
Downsize &
upsize text to improve line fit and text wrapping. Use the spacebar
to move text to the next line on bulleted text. (The enter key
inserts a new bulleted line) If you can't get the reformat to
work go ahead and send the file to us. We will do the reformat
for you at a rate of $30.00 per hour with a 1 hour minimum. Include
a note requesting reformat in your e-mail message.
Spell Check
All Slides ! We are not responsible
for your errors. If it is misspelled, we will
assume you wanted it that way!
Keep in mind that screen
colors and slide colors will be close, but rarely match exactly.
Now you are ready to
E-Mail your file to us.
